Josh's popularity came with that "Once in a lifetime" song You Raise Me Up. Other than that, he doesn't come close to David in the singing category. I saw Josh on a PBS special and American Idol and was not that impressed with either performance.

Do you have to call in sick, or can't you just ask for a few days off to get away?? You don't have to tell them what it's for...and even if you do, people ARE entitled to days off...I say Plan it, and tell 'em!!
Amen to that!! As it is I sit and listen to him (and GVB) all day at work!

Do you have to call in sick, or can't you just ask for a few days off to get away?? You don't have to tell them what it's for...and even if you do, people ARE entitled to days off...I say Plan it, and tell 'em!!
We don't get "personal" days even though I thought that was the law. So it's sick days, doctor appointments or vacation. And with just 2 weeks vacation it wouldn't take long for me to be in the hole!!
How about telling them you "need to schedule a doctors appointment with Dr. Phelps!" :wink:

haha! so im hoping to get to see him when im over in america, coming over on saturday for 3 months...so in that time if i dont get to see him,,, im coming back over to the U.S to see him at a christmas show...either way it has to be this year Laughing Laughing I CANT WAIT ANY LONGER LOL Laughing
I'm trying to figure out if I'll be able to afford to travel somewhere to see a Christmas concert! Airfare is not cheap these days plus there's the issue of time off from work if it's not on a weekend! Do I lie and call in sick for a few days so I can see and hear David live????? Somehow that doesn't seem quite right, does it?

This is kinda back off the subject, but I have to agree with Kellie and Linda about Marshall Hall.....he is wonderful!! LOVE to hear him!
I agree.
He's definitely found his voice!! I liked to listen to him when he was younger, but now, I'm like you Kellie. I "LOVE to hear him!"
