That is great! I am so glad that you are doing so well. Here's a tip for you: read the questions carefully on the test. Sometimes the way it is worded can throw you off. I had to do that a couple of times before I submitted the tests. I'm so proud of you! I have to get finished soon though.

Guys, thanks so much for all the encouragement! The second lesson is a real hard one.....Medical History and it's long....so I know I'll be busy.....lol
And yes, Tiff......I'll let you know when I need to scream and we can do it together....
And thanks Jackee for the knowledge of your sister....I wanted to take the Medical Transcriptionist first and then maybe the billing later.
Today my Mom's doctor told me I should be a nurse.....I just laughed at him, can't stand the sight of blood! UGH! And then he told me I should be an Office Manager....told him been there, done that..no thanks..too many headaches.
Well, I'm taking a break and listening to my Joy, Joy Cd and then back to the old grind.....lol

My sister is a medical transcriptionist. She was making in the 6 figures - working at home. She was so busy at one point she had to hire 4 assistants. Been doing it for over 30 years. She started out on a typewriter and 2 cents a line. i am so proud of her. She supported her 3 kids on this income. Today she is semi-retired in Florida. She only has one doctor who specializes in hand surgery and is waiting for him to retire and then she will be done.
The terminology is tough until you learn the roots and them all seems to fall into place. Yes, i was one of her assistants. But she also branched out into medical billing. Maybe you should look into that too. That is where the real money is.

hhooray! fran! how awesome of you to go back to school!! what a great thing to do with the help of sherri and lynne and the support of us all you will do great and when you want to pull out your hair b/c studying so much for exams kills your brain let me know we can just scream together hahahah just kidding it's not that bad but sometimes it feels like it could be!
