Does anyone wonder if "admin" would happen to be David himself??? He loves a good prank and would love to pull something over on his phans.

I've thought about it. Nothing surprises me anymore. laugh.gif I suspect just about everything...LOL!

Fmarie,

How encouraging! Thank you so much.

After the "Sandi Patti" and "Michael W. Smith" era of Christian music in the 80's and 90's, there was a movement emerge in the industry toward the "band sound." This was encouraged in part by a resurgence of worship as a priority in the local church.

Today, we see a coming change in this trend back to the "voice" instead of the band. In other words, back to singers instead of just bands. Of course, history tells us there is room in the books for both. So, the way to get David to be one of the voices is to do what you've done--call your local station.

Once again, thanks for doing so.

Have a great day, everyone.

Hi Admin!!!! I recently emailed my Christian radio station after several attempts to request that they play David's music.

Here is the response that I got. (I was so happy that someone actually acknowledged my email).

Fran

Thanks for writing. I, too enjoy David Phelps and we have several of his songs in rotation, including "Arms Open Wide", Life is a Church", "Behold the Lamb", "With His Love (Sing Holy)" and "Live Like a King." Youn don't have to send us those CDs, but be assured that I will take a closer look at his music and see what we can fit into our schedule. We love playing music that honors God and is sung with passion, and David Phelps certainly fits that mold.

Thanks againg for writing (and listening) and for taking the time to give good, constructive advice. Tell your friends about us!

God Bless,
