Man that was some trip... it was very much up and down the whole weekend. The initial trip was to help Martha, but then we found out about a special little bonus and the rest just got better and funnier and so great with David and Jack there. That was an amazing navigationally challenged trip with Liz and Ruth and Debby & Bill...we need to do it again soon.
Thanks for the memories of it.

Talk about deja vu! blink.gif

I haven't been to the boards in a while, at least to post, and here is the adventures of "Thelma and Louise", without the bad ending, of course.

It brought back so many memories of a most memorable trip. Most of all I remember the giggles that Lee and I had when we couldn't get into our Bed and Breakfast after midnight, and then afraid we were entering the wrong room once we did get in! Toooo phunny!

Thanks for bringing this one back up. laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

I saw fried twinkies on a cooking show. I have never had a corn dog. Thanks for sharing photos and
reviews of the show.

Funny Lee, I just had a client come in with those same flip flops on!!! I was so excited I almost pee'd my pants (just kidding, really!) Get this mental picture, The lights were low, for a relaxing effect, when I looked down and saw them, but I couldn't be sure. Now, when you are in the middle of a massage you can't take your hands off the client (ruins the flow) so, here I am trying to bend down far enough to see the little logo and keep my hands above me, on the client, at the same time. It was quite a show! But I did see it!!! I was so thrilled ha ha!

This was way fun to read again... And I just remembered another funny thing that didn't make it in these stories...

When we were all talking to DP after the service I asked him what size his shoes were. Apparently a few had asked him before but there never was a clear answer remembered (11 1/2).

Because poor Luize still didn't have a correct size for her gift in Brazil she asked me to ask DP again... So I did... However...He was so funny... He stood there...put his hands on his hips and said, "Why does everybody need to know what size shoes I wear??? And of course, I told him I couldn't tell him...hahaha, but I did say it was a surprise! So he told me the size and we laughed and he just shook his head...haha

Then a week later Luize hands him the most wonderful gift of the Flip Flops that say Brazil on them... and it all finally made sense. I'm sure he got a great big kick out of it all. It was a fun time.

That was an amazing trip in many ways and I am so thankful to have made such wonderful phriends that continue to this day to be near & dear to me.

Blessings,
Lee

Thanks for resurrecting this! It must have been really far back!

That was a wonderphul weekend. It will always remain one of my most cherished. And the phun that Leeg and I had was more phun than you can imagine. We didn't tell it all!

Hardly seems like a year has passed, but the weekend of David's and Lori's birthday I was down in Waco, delivering the birthday greetings from the board!

Sure is nice to know that time is passing so fast, but I'm not getting any older! That's my story, and I'm stickin' to it.
