Thanks for sharing the story of Faith and for watching out for her!! She sure will be one happy little girl when she gets that picture in the mail. Thanks for posting the pics, Fran. It was great to meet you and Arleen, I really look forward to meeting people from the board. It was so nice of you to take care of the picture for the little girl, I love it when we can do something like that for a fan, especially a young one! Take care and hope to see you again soon. My cousin Arleen and myself drove the 2 hours to Salisbury, MD to help at David's table along with Jack and Laura. We had such a great time being able to volunteer and see how many people came up and bought things and to say all the great things about him - which we already know...lol
It was nice to see all the different artists performing since we haven't been to a Homecoming Concert in a long time. The GVB were outstanding! Marsh did a great job standing in for Michael and David was on even though he was not feeling 100%.
We had a little 6 yr. old girl (Faith) with her mom who came and asked if David was coming out at intermission and we said "yes". Well, intermission came and Jack said David didn't feel too well and we had to tell her he wasn't coming out...she told us that David was her most favorite singer. I felt so bad, she looked so dissappointed. So at the end of the concert we told her to pick out a poster and we would get it signed by David and send it to her. PJ was at the State College concert and got David to sign it for me and I will see PJ this coming Saturday and send it to Faith. She is probably looking or asking her mom if anything came for her in the mail yet....lol....And like hindsight, I wish I would have taken a picture of her...she was dressed in a long red velvet dress and looked so pretty just to meet David.
