Adding my prayers for your situation. I've been in your shoes with a family member and its so very hard to remain optimistic when you see the sewer they are living in. Raise your eyes to the Lord and know that He will lead the way. Your son and his children will get through this easier because you care so much. Just stay supportive to them and give their mother to God. The behavior of all grandparents and parents involved with an addicted mother or father is the best example those children can ever see. If I can offer you one solid piece of advice, it would be to let those children hear you praying for their mother. They know there is a problem, their gonna love her regardless, and it helps them to know that your not turning your back on her during a bad time. Even if they have to stay away from her, hearing your prayers on her behalf really does help to allay the resentment that the children will feel to those that are keeping them separated from her. May God bless your family and bring you peace.

So sorry to hear about this. I agree with you, drugs are evil. I'm glad those kids have a father and grandmother who loves them and is looking out for them.

YES. Very well put, willie.

(And please, verybigphan, always, ALWAYS know you can come here. smile.gif )

thanks you all so much! The thing is, both these people were saved at some point, I know for a fact her brother is, and she says she was saved according to my son. I fear for them both because of that. Drugs are evil. THANKS so much.....Im going to share one more thing about C I will call her...at the age of 13 she went missing for a few days and when they found her she didn't speak for an entire month. We all KNOW something horrible happened to her, and she WON"T TALK when she goes thru this stuff, then or now either. i know this is a lot of personal info on this board to share, but I truly feel that prayers are answered here. Its obviously driving everything happening to her right now. What a town, they need to shut these dealers DOWN. There is no way she should be having access to this stuff right now. ( i hope nobody in my family ever sees how much i shared on here, but I am afraid we are going to lose her) She needs PRAYER, I see nothing else that will work. Thanks again,.

Adding my prayers for your ex-daughter-in-law.
Especially praying for her children at this time as well.
Thank you for sharing this request with the phamily.
In 26 years of ministry working with addicted people, I knoiw how difficult it is for people to quit.
The addiction is stronger, but Jesus is stronger. Hopefully someone can reach your ex-daughter-in-law
with the massage of God's love for her

I, too, have seen how drugs can tear a family apart, and how the children are the most hurt. I am so sorry for all that your family is going through. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.

Blessings,
Liz
