Well, then! If my February trip to OK goes well, I may have to put a December trip on the calendar!

WOW! LEE! Amazing, as always! biggrin.gif I caught my breath when I read that he sang Ave Maria!!! Oh my! Just thinking about hearing him sing this at the barn taping! And then having to wait til next year for the release of the 2nd show...maybe I'll hear it before then (Feb 14th?). But for sure next Christmas in Broken Arrow on Dec. 19th, 2010! biggrin.gif

Gretch, there was some lady hollering out a bit and David joked with her & asked her name and said he'd see her after and be sure she got the messages he was trying to convey. He was setting up the computer when all that went on...but I think he had it planned in his mind, but just needed to execute it. He did make sure the mic stand was well away from him, though...haha

No matter... it was spectacular...and it looks like he repeated it in CT, too...so sweet!

What a blessing!

Wow Lee , thank you........you did it again, recaptured the awesome evening. This years was my first time to Ashland and have to say that Ashland is one of the most incredible concerts I have attended..no wonder David likes that venue..it is great and God was in the house!!!

It was wonderful to meet new phriends and see some phreinds I hadn't seen in a while. This was also the first time I had seen Daren...he was funny..."look there's a door" and "break a twenty" still make me laugh...also the first time I had spoken with Bethany......what a bright and wonderful young lady she is!!! There are so many wonderful moments...but loved watching David and Coby..and what a treat for Coby to sing to us.....he got a standing O!!! Loved the newest way David has arranged Angel Band...... and it is just over the top wonderful to hear and see Sherri and David sing together on One King.......watching Jack just play a while on the piano was also a special treat.....but Ave Maria....oh my goodness....I am sure my jaw dropped to the floor...couldn't believe it when he moved the mic away from himself....David's voice filled the whole theater...it was amazing! Earlier this year was in a few concerts where David had the audience singing and it was wonderful, but in Ashland have to say it was very worshipful... David and the audience just wanted to soak it in..and we did....the Spirit fell fresh....then David began O Holy Night..between the tears and emotions we could hardly breathe....many wonderful moments.
I encourage any one that can make it to go..this concert was indeed astonishing...amazing...awesome!

Thank you Olegoat and Pastor Chris for bringing David to the Paramount..ten years now... that's pretty amazing too. Thank you to David and Lori , Jack and Sunny, Sherri and Mark, and all of DP's crew and your precious families that share you with all of your phans all year long...you are a blessing!

Thank you Lee..for the review and for the incredible travel adventures!
God Bless
Luv ya

Thanks Lee!!!

Sounds like the night was a blessing for many smile.gif

Regarding Ave Maria -
I thought I remember reading, from Layla, that some lady in the audience
yelled that she couldn't hear David or something.
So he sang Ave Maria to make sure she could hear him.

No?
