Janette...I still get the same chills no matter how many times I hear this...The Bible tell us that ....."Angels are spirit filled messengers sent by God to care for those who are to receive His Salvation!!" I have no doubt of this!!

You know me and poetry wink.gif rolleyes.gif ...so here is a "Poem For Joey!!"

To Joey..........

God sends us his Angels to protect, comfort, and care.
They are constantly around us though we may not see them there.
These "Special Messengers" from God are sent from Heaven's Throne
They bear God's Almighty Message ..."You Never Are Alone!!"
They ride the prayers of all who pray with swift and caring love,
Joey never doubt your life is touched by God's Hand from above!!!

Give everyone a hug from us...And I LOVE your new avatar!!

The length of your post is a testament to the depth of your feelings, Janette! wink.gif
Again, I praise God that Joey will be healthy and whole with a great story to tell his grandkids. A great lesson..."don't argue with your mama! See this scar? And this scar? And this scar? I'll tell you what can happen..."

I sounds like you and Susan are hanging in there. Lifting up prayers for you two as well as Joey and Curtis.

WOW JANETTE. THAT IS AN AMAZING STORY. GOD IS IN CHARGE FOR SURE. I CONTINUE TO THINK ABOUT YOU AND THE SITUATION AND WONDER JUST HOW WE DEAL WITH THINGS LIKE THIS IF NOT FOR GOD'S PRESEMCE IN OUR LIVES. I OFTEN WONDER HOW UNBELIEVERS MANAGE TO GET THROUGH EACH DAY.

I WILL CONTINUE TO PRAY FOR JOEY AND YOUR ENTIRE FAMILY, DOCTORS AND NURSES LOOKING AFTER JOEY AND FOR CURTIS AS WELL. I CAN'T IMAGINE HOW HE MUST BE FEELING ABOUT WHAT HAPPENED. AND I THANK GOD ONE MORE TIME FOR THIS PLACE PROVIDED BY DAVID WHERE WE CAN SHARE OUR FEELINGS, DREAMS, NIGHTMARES, JOY, SORROW AND PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER AND LIFT EACH OTHER UP. I DON'T THINK HE CAN POSSIBLY REALIZE WHAT THIS SITE MEANS TO SO MANY OF US.

GOD BLESS AND KEEP US POSTED.

Thanks for sharing the details, Janette. Joey is lucky to have only suffered the injuries he did, so we know God was with him at that precise moment. I remember David saying during the concert the other night something about always being fearful of something happening to one of his babies. I'm sure we all share that fear for our own, as you do for Joey. Our fear doesn't stop things from happening, but prayers from our friends do get us through it after it does happen.

I can't imagine how the gentleman feels that hit him. My prayers are with him and his family, with Joey's family as they wait with him, and for a quick and complete recovery for Joey.

WOW! Thanks Janette for sharing Joey's story. God is so present in all aspects of life..I learned that myself not long ago. I love hearing testimonies like this that show that God truly is an Awesome God. We have trouble understanding sometimes "why" bad things happen and we probably won't ever know "why" till we see the face of God ourselves..but He does have a plan and we have to honor that with our Faith.

Joey will have a wonderful testimony to share when he is fully recovered. I pray for Curtis also. I am sure that he is an emotional mess right now and rightfully so.

I feel for Susan. I know that she is a mess right now but please let her know that God is good and so many people care about her and are praying fervently for her and for continued strength to heal for Joey.

I love ya friend and call if you need anything.

Aw, Janette, know we are thinking of you all! This is a parent's/grandparents worst nightmare to have any kind of accident happen to a loved one!!!!!! I do believe that Joey is going to be OK though he has a rough road ahead for a little while. Praise God for the doctors and all involved in his recovery.

Prayers for Joey, you and the whole family,
Chuck & Nancy

Wow!!!
So many instances of God being present during the accident.

I can't imagine what Susan is feeling - to get that phone call after having a disagreement with Joey.

My prayers continue, including prayers for Curtis.

Wow Janette......God and his angels were there watching over Joey and you KNOW he has great plans for Joey. Thanks for the whole story. I think God uses these situations to put life back in prospective......God works so many different direction in times like these you just know He is working in many people's lives.

Prayers continue for Joey's complete healing and strength for Susan, you and your family....adding Curtis to my prayers too.

Thanks for sharing Joey's story
