Hi David!

Thank you so much for an unforgettable night in Ashland, KY. It was worth it and the message had a huge impact on me. I went into that concert with alot on my mind and my heart. When you said to let go of your burdens and give it to God..it was what I needed to hear. Look forward to seeing you on tour again soon. Happy New Year to you and your family.

DAVID AND LORI AND KIDS: THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL YOU DO, DAVID FOR BEING AWAY FROM YOUR FAMILY SO MUCH AND LORI FOR LETTING HIM. GOD WORKS MIRACLES THROUGH DAVID AND WE ARE SO BLESSED BEING ABLE TO HEAR THAT PHABULOUS VOICE. IT HAS UPLIFTED US ON MANY OCCASIONS.

GORDON IS STILL IN THE HOSPITAL (SINCE NOVEMBER 2ND) AND WILL BE FOR A WHILE YET. HOWEVER, WE WENT AND SPENT SOME TIME WITH HIM ON CHRISTMAS DAY, TOOK FRUIT TRAY, VEGGIE TRAY AND DIP, CHEESE, COOKIES AND CHIPS AND HAD A LITTLE PARTY WITH HIM. WHEN WE CAME HOME, WE HAD OUR TRADITIONAL TURKEY DINNER AND LIKE YOU ATE TOO MUCH, BUT THE ATMOSPHERE WAS NOT THE SAME WITHOUT GORDON BEING THERE. HOWEVER, WE MADE IT THROUGH, THANKFUL THAT HE WAS STILL WITH US IN SPIRIT AND THAT HE HAS A GOOD OUTLOOK ON HIS CONDITION AND IS HOPING THAT HE WILL BE HOME SOON, WHETHER OR NOT HE WILL BE AS HEALTHY AS HE WOULD LIKE. HE SURE LOVED SEEING THE GRANDKIDS AND OF COURSE OUR SON AND DAUGHTER. WE TOOK HIM A TURKEY SANDWICH ON BOXING DAY AND HE ENJOYED IT SO MUCH.

WE WANT TO WISH YOU THE BEST 2009 POSSIBLE, WITH HEALTH, HAPPINESS AND PROSPERITY, AND TRUST GOD WILL CONTINUE TO BLESS YOU AND LORI AND THE CHILDREN AS HE HAS IN THE PAST. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN TO A CONCERT BUT HOPE SOME DAY TO BE ABLE TO ATTEND ONE AS CLOSE TO WINDSOR AS POSSIBLE AS TRAVELLING IS DIFFICULT.

GOD BLESS, WE LOVE YOU IN CHRIST AND ARE THANKFUL FOR THE FORUMS WHERE WE CAN SHARE THE GOOD AND THE NOT SO GOOD WITH ONE ANOTHER.

LOVE

Roberta and Gordon Sim

Thanks David for letting us all know about your wonderful holiday. I attended your Ashland Ky concert, and got to meet you after the concert. I just wanted to say thanks for staying for the meet and greet when you had such a long road ahead of you and a concert the next night. You are such a blessing to so many people and I hope that you have a wonderful New Year! God Bless you and your family.

David, Thank you for everything you do - from the fabulous concerts with the meet and greets (which are so very much appreciated) to this web site where people all over the world are able to come together to discuss not only your wonderful music, but anything else that weighs heavy on our hearts and become a phamily! I'm glad your Christmas was everything you wanted and have a healthy, Happy New Year and may God bless you all as much as you've blessed us. Linda

Hey David... Thanks for stopping by! Glad you had a great Christmas and are now getting a well deserved rest. I was really sad that I didn't get to attend a concert this year but I'm holding out hope for the spring tour. You were in my home on Christmas day as I gathered with my sons , their wives and grandchildren including the grandog. I had O Holy Night in the dvd player and I think I backed it up to O Holy Night about ten times and finally my kids started rolling their eyes so I decide enough was enough .lol.
Blessings to you, Lori and the kids . May you have a great & prosperous New Year!

I have never had the problem of sleeping in on Christmas morning...I was, and still am the first one up and yes....every year someone tells me to go back to bed, "it's too early"! LOL Anyway...dp, you and the crew have become a Christmas tradition for me...it just isn't Christmas without a dp concert...Thank you for all you do making the concerts so special (it shows  ) and thank you to your family for sharing you during the holidays with your fans....Love and hugs to the Phelps family and of course, the "crew"...Love you guys! Can't wait for the spring tours of The Voice! biggrin.gif
