As Linda said, Grant was good at his singing too!~ and when I talked to him after the concert, I told him he would soon be standing there with his dad signing autographs, and with great gusto he said "I already did one ! ~ ".... a fine young man, and not bashful about talking to people at all.

Another great night! smile.gif

Kim, it was great meeting you and Keith! I'm glad you looked me up at the table and introduced yourself. smile.gif

It was good to see old friends again and to meet both Kim and Layla for the first time. I know I'll forget someone, so I'll apologize for that up front, but those attending besides Mom and I were Mary G. Kellie and John, Julie, April, Kristen, Lee, Chris and Gwen, James, Sharyn and her son, Kim and Keith, Gail and her sister, Bethany and Layla, Amber . . . did I miss anyone? Oh yeah! Mike/Olegoat and his wife, Sheila/Cheryl. She and I laughed at the fact that I had called her the wrong name, and I still can't remember which is right. I'm usually really good with names. She was a good sport about it, said she didn't care what I called her. laugh.gif Mary was a lifesaver at the table! LOL I just couldn't add last night! Good thing she was there beside me the whole time. laugh.gif

We were all missing Jackee and Vicki, but hopefully next year you'll both be able to make it! smile.gif

David had a special back up singer last night for Away in the Manger/Sleep Little Baby. Grant! smile.gif Because of a Christmas play at home (their church I assume), this was the first chance he had to be out on the road with Dad, so when it came time for that song, he took over Sherri mic and sang back up for David! smile.gif Grant and I had a nice little conversation at the table after the concert about the sleeping arrangements both on the bus and at home! He was so funny. laugh.gif He's such a nice boy, very polite.

I hope as the others arrive home and have time, they'll add more about the concert, so stay tuned! smile.gif

Hi Kim
Thank you for that report. I know you had a great time. I've been a phan of David's for years, but in November it was the first time I got to see him do the solo concert.
What a blessing.
Have a wonderphul Christmas
Blessings

Hello Everybody,

He sang some stuff off of the O HOLY NIGHT cd and then sang some stuff off of the VOICE anad off of other cds. I was excited to get to meet him and have my picture taken with him. My husband was working the camera 35mm so I hope it took. This is the first concert I have been to and I was just blown away. That wonderful voice.I am so sorry for the people that could not make it in due to bad weather, and LINDA it was nice to meet you. I can not wait until the next time I get to see him perform.David thanks for staying to sign autographs I know you had a long trip ahead of you.
