Sending up prayers for Sage. She looks so much like my Moses (male name, female dog, long story)!! Moses lived to be 19 (yes--19) years old, so I wish the same for Sage.

There is health insurance for pets! Shouldn't surprise me, goes to show my pet situation. My parents never let us kids have pets, they instilled in us a strong dislike actually. Then my brother and sister get pets for their kids. I've chilled out on the dislike (after many years being around these darn dogs) but I highly doubt I'll ever get one of my own. Famous last words!!!!! I may be eating my words someday but I just can't see it at the moment.

How old is Sage?

The shelter where we got her told us she was 4. However, her vet(s) and I have come to the conclusion she is about 8.

That's a lot of money for eye surgury on a dog. They should start selling health insurance for pets! :? Let us know how it all turns out.

There is health insurance for pets, and I've even looked into getting it. But, now her issue(s) would be a pre-existing condition... :cry: :cry: :cry:
