Oh Shelisa, I just got home and read this. My heart goes out to Kayla's family and extended family. May the Lord hold you all in His loving arms and give you peace and strength. My prayers continue...

This excerpt from Homesick by Mercy Me comes to mind:

"Your in a better place"
I've heard a thousand times.
And at least a thousand times
I've rejoiced for you.
But the reason why I'm broken
The reason that I cry
Is I'm still here
So far away from home.

I close my eyes and I see your face
If home's where my heart is
then I'm out of place
Lord won't you give me strength to make
it through somehow.

I've never been more homesick than now

Deepest Sympathy.

I dont mean to sound cold and heartless, but is this the gal that had fainted and quit breathing about a week or so ago? Did they ever find out what the problem was?
Im soooo sorry for the loss. Werent they to be married in a month or so?
This blows my mind away. sad.gif

My friend's brother had a cist (wrong spelling, sorry) the size of a baseball in his arm-pit that had 5 more attached to it removed last week, and today, he found out he has stage 4 melonoma (again, wrong spelling, sorry) cancer. Doctors say there is no cure, but God has one.
A couple months ago, his girlfriend was riding her bicycle and had the choice of getting ran over by a car or running into a building. She chose the building, and broke her nose, arm, and leg, possible her spinal cord too. She had to be airlifted to a more adequate hospital in Peoria where they had neurogical doctors.
We have doctors that deal with that in local hospitals but I guess none that specialize in it. So please pray for her and her family
