Is it confirmed that he will be at the Sacramento concert. I am planning on going and that would be awesome, since I haven't seen him live since I was around 13.

Fossinator, thus far we have no confirmation on any more of David's appearances with the Vocal Band beyond this week. The original email from Gaither said that Mark Lowry and Jason Crabb would also fill in for Guy Penrod. Mark did one or two dates last week, David is on duty this week, but no word yet on when Jason will sit in with the GVB or when Guy will return.

Wichita Falls is 35 years to late! Ha!! I had Medical Tech School at Sheppard Air Force Base in 1973 & 74! Memories!! Did go to 1st Bapt Ch. of WF. Home church to the Gatlins.

Is there any possibility for Sacramento, CA or Reno, NV 11/17?. I live in between. As long as I can sit I can hand things to people, I could be behind a table. (Being there would have those endorphins running plus acupuncture.)

That would be a fabulous BD present!! See David sing!! My Mom had thought about going (I would have to go with my Parents). Thank you God.

Still want to see him at the El Rey in LA. It is a historic art deco theater. It will be wonderful for David & us. The exposure would be fab.

Uh oh.. :oops: Liz...There was a misunderstanding....Bill and Debby will be riding with us to Wichita and coming back to the house for one more night...Yaaaaaaaaaaaay! So...my car is full..but still have plenty of room for you guys to stay at the house... :wink: This is really going to be fun....I wish everyone could go!!

Sounds like you all will be having one grand road trip & spa accommodations for the nite as well.

I'm not here much lately, but I did see this last night, and Don and I will be at the Austin Homecoming. Got the tickets already too. I'd love to go to Wichita Falls too, smaller crowd and all, but we are going on to Beaumont on Saturday, so that won't be possible.

It's just so exciting to have this opportunity!

We are looking forward to seeing you, Janette, Bill and Debby. You should be easy to find!

Add Terry (from Houston) to our group...she is going on the road trip with us to Austin and Wichita...We are having a slumber party at my house Thursday night...Why don't you and Don come??? It's gonna be a hoot!! :wink:

That sounds like fun. Our plans were to go on down to Beaumont for the weekend, but plans changed today, and we'll be able to make the Wichita Falls concert too! Got the tickets today. I had to call the venue though. There are no more online tickets available.

I'll have to go to school on Friday morning at least, so the slumber party wouldn't work, but it sure sounds like fun! Poor Don, he won't have a chance will he?

Well..I don't know if the change in plans was good for you guys....but I'm glad you will be at the Wichita concert...Yaaaaaaaaaaay! We are driving back Friday after the concert for another slumber party...you guys could come (unless you are spending the night in Austin)...and you could ride with Terry and I....Bill and Debby will be going home from Wichita...so they are taking their car....it would be a good chance for us to get to know Don... :roll: :wink:
