Sheilsa, prayers continue on behalf of Kayla and Jared.

Thanks for the update Shelisa.......Kayla has not been far from my mind and I keep peeking in to see how she is. Sending up new prayers, that she keeps on pulling through with the help of the Lord.

Kayla made it through the night which makes everyone feel a little better. They say her body is doing better than yesterday but she went into cardiac arrest twice so they are afraid the lack of oxygen (it was cut off for a total of 30 min) has damaged her brain. They did a scan and there is no bleeding in her brain but at this point they aren't giving much hope saying there is extensive brain damage. thank you so much for continuing to pray. The good news is she seems to be making progress with breathing on her own. So keep it up.

I called Jared to get a little more light on the situation and he said they dont think the blood clots are a problem anymore, they are pretty sure she passed them in the night so at this point all physical dangers are out of the way. She is heavily sedated so they are weaning her off of the medication so they know if she is still having seizures. Brain damage is the thing and they have scans on her constantly. Jared sounded tired but hopeful, shes out of the woods as far as her life is concerned but we really need prayer that the damage to her brain is not bad.
Thank you so much!! Jared said last night they had given up hope and thought she wouldn't make it through the night. God is good!

Shelisa I just read this. I'm praying right now for them.

I pray the Lord will hear our cries and prayers for Kayla and grant our wishes for her! May His will be done however.
