Everything is still the same as far as kayla being unconscious BUT Jared says she responds to his voice and touch. She'll give a little jerk sometimes but her brain shows response. That is great news!! The doctors say she is deciding if shes going to go to heaven or come back here and it could go either way. Her response makes me feel hopeful about the situation though. The prayers are being felt sooo powerfully, please keep praying that there will be no brain damage and that she'll decide that heaven can wait a little longer. I know thats gotta be a rough choice.

Thank you, Shelisa, for your updates. Every time Kayla (and Jared and their families) popped back into my mind today--at least 20 times--I said another prayer.

And I will continue to pray as often as I can.

My mom, when she had her devestating stroke, is another example of those miracle stories. Miracles DO happen.

Love and Light,

Lauri

I join everyone else with continuing praying and Kayla and Jared have certainly touched us all here as they were on my mind a lot today too. I was glad to read your update that she is out of the woods medically. Hopefully, once they start weaning her off the sedation she will show good response and this will be a story to strength their union on their wedding day! God's blessing on all of you and especially this special young couple.

Thanks, Shelisa, for keeping us posted.
