In my humble opinion Chris Daughtry was the greates A.I. ever

I TOTALLY AGREE....I have his album and WOW WOW WOW!!!!!

I never liked Amanda.....they always have one that tries to sound like Janis Joplin and it's horrible...she needs to be on the one show called "Rock Star"...she'd fit better there I think!!! My humble opinion!!!

Kristi Lee is horrible, Brooke is too sweet.....the music industry will just tear her up.....I think it'll be down to these four (not particularly in this order...) David Cook, Carly, David A, and Jason.......I was completely shocked that Kristi beat David Hernandez!!! I yelled at the tv!!! What are you people thinking!!!!!

Randy is weird period, Paula...well.................I can't say what I'd like to out loud and be nice about it.... Simon, well........................................................................................the stuff between him and Ryan is almost enough to make me turn it off....it's not necessary in my opinion...it takes away from the performers.

David Archuletta - awesome and totally redeemed himself from last week. I have liked him from the beginning and think his first name is so ironic.
David Cook - from Bluesprings, MO, did Daytripper! I thought it was well done. He has strong vocals, again ironic first name!

I think those are my two favorites this season. The two Davids and they........hey wait a minute.....hmmmm......

Nevermind. David Cook is also very talented to be able to both sing and play git-tar that well at the same time!

I thought the right choice was made last night...! smile.gif

Janette, would you say the 8 Days A Week girl will be playing her "Sudden Death" game next week? I think thats what she'll get if she doesn't redeem herself with a home run.
I was kinda surprised that the rocker chick was booted before her...so yes...i think she will be the next to go...but stranger things have happened...

i agree Bill..............what always bothered me is why someone won't direct these kids more in telling them that it is not a good song for them........but then i saw an interview of the music director on TV GUide Idol Rewind show.....and he said that they can do everything with them as far as making new arrangements and all, but they are to have no input whatsoever about the song choice....they can't even tell them that it is the worng song for their voice or that they don;t sound good doing it.......they can only try to make it sound good with them from their.......i thought that stinks............oh well....i guess it has to be on their shoulders alone.......no wonder!...lol

Debby and I were correct about who the two anchor girls would be, although we were surprised that TuTone Hair Chick went first. We didn't think her butchery was as bad as Strike Two Girl, who explained she made her song selection, You've Got To Hide Your Love Away because she liked the lyrics  Lyrics? OK nobody has accused ME of being a vocalist lately. I can't even snore on pitch! But I thought the song selection criteria was whatever number would bring out the best of ones vocal skills. Well what do I know about it.

And even as I was typing this, I slapped myself: I COULD HAVE HAD A V-8!!!!

Actually one of them could have if their handlers had just brought in a REAL Beatles consultant. Like ME. The B-side of the worldwide single version of Help! was a real potboiler sung and written by Paul, I'm Down. TuTone Chick or any of the other ladies could have gotten two more weeks of mileage out of this song alone. But alas, I guarantee you none of them has ever heard of it, its pretty hard to find on CD. Indeed, the video clips showed some of them leafing through SHEET MUSIC. Not listening to the records! I just cringed.

I wish they would do a tribute to ELVIS week and sing all of his old songs. That would be pretty interesting huh?
I know ruth would agree biggrin.gif

They did do that Naomi...The season that Taylor Hicks won! It was AWESOME!

That was last year! It was great! I still think Chris did the best job on the songs! smile.gif
