YES, this place is very addicting. I can almost always be found on-line from about 11 p.m. until 1 a.m. (Insomniac!!) And now it's the middle of the day and here I sit.

We rehabbed a doe in KY and found a farm in one of the small cities nearby to release her. The man had buffalo, deer, and miniature donkeys on his farm. We asked what he did with the donkeys. He said nothing, he just liked to watch them!

I've always been accused by fellow workers (when I worked) of having cats in dog suits because I have small dogs. That's okay. Every clinic I ever went to needed someone to take care of big dogs and someone that bonded with the small dogs and cats. And it's okay that some people can't tolerate cats, others think dogs are obnoxious. We can't all love the same things!!

We had a huge bullfrog in our pool a couple of months ago. Big enough to make a frog leg sandwich! And I love the many lizards (anoles) that dart around here.

I'm at work and should be working too, and WOULD be, but the system is down, so it's out of my control. smile.gif I can't really do anything until it's fixed. smile.gif smile.gif

So get a little dog. LOL I have a little, less-than-six pounder that in inside most of the time. Little dogs don't need a lot of room to run for exercise. That's IF you really want a dog. wink.gif

Should be fun to see. They'll probably have the police tape up to keep us all corraled in one area and out of trouble. I think I would prefer rural life. We are square in suburbia. Sidewalks and a city lot size yard.
Open space would be good. Lack of it has been my excuse for not getting a dog.

I guess I do love our cats anyways, despite my own allergies. (and my sons too) The cats are just mild irritations. We had adopted a new one 6 months ago who still isn't getting along with the other three.
They just need time.

Ewwww. This is addicting. I need to be working.

(Kellie)
Grant told me that they have horses and a donkey named Eeyore. (i don't know how to spell Pooh's friend's name.) And dogs and cats. No mention of any cattle. Lori spoke of chickens in a letter many years ago, didn't she?

Last count I heard was three horses, a miniature donkey (exactly what do you do with a miniature donkey?), 2 dogs, Sandy and Lincoln, an ever-changing number of cats I think, and didn't he mention frogs one time? Those that were in Maggie Beth's possesion on any given day? laugh.gif And there are fish in the pond.
