David, if you are not gonna record GRATEFUL for general consumption, would you consider putting it on a tape for me and Ruth?!! That song has got to be available for the ages.

Jackee, I can't believe you are worried about David recording GRATEFUL. smile.gif Doesn't he do everything you want him to? laugh.gif laugh.gif

As much as i am worried about DPs 'crossing over', i find myself looking forward to this CD more than the Birmingham taping and CD. i am anxious for this to be available to us. (even tho Grateful is not on it!!!!)

Well, he just has to do the love song that he and Lori wrote together. It's on the Journey to Grace cd. I love it!

I came across a love song of DP; This love.
Does anyone know who sings the female part?

Her name is Tabitha Faire. That song is on DP's "Journey To Grace" CD.

Not sure it's for the CD but I love "Falling Slowly" from the movie "Once" and would love to hear David sing it... and there are some other songs in it that are beautiful... I recommend the movie.

I would respectfully recommend against the inclusion of Sir Paul McCartney's Silly Love Songs.

Ohhhh, I'd love to hear David sing "Learn To Be Lonely"! I'm officially adding it to my list!

Well..that will be at least two of us.. ha ha..Don't you just love the lyrics to that song??? They are sad...but so touching...

Throwing in with you two. I love that song too.

And here are some of my other faves that I haven't thought of in a VERY long time.

My 'Love Song' list would never be complete without some Elvis-Can't Help Falling in Love, Love Me Tender, Always On My Mind and Unchained Melody. I just love those songs.

And a few others:
I Can't Fight This Feeling-REO Speedwagon
When A Man Loves A Woman-Michael Bolton
Have I Told You Lately (That I Love You)-Rod Stewart
The Dance-Garth Brooks
Unanswered Prayers-Garth Brooks
