Me and Scotty went with Lauri and Liz Sunday before we left, and we stopped on the side of the road to get a few pictures. While I was out, I picked a blade of grass front he side of the road, handed it to Lauri and said: "This blade of grass has been run over by David's lawnmower... you're welcome!" And I think it was the best gift she had gotten in a long time

Hmmmm....maybe you pholk should've kept this to yourself???? :? I kinda pheel bad phor David, though I know you were respectful and all...... :?

This not said smartly, or anything...just wondering.....

Let's just say his house is very nice, very pretty, nice size, country-esque/antebellum I believe you'd say, and I know they are proud of it. Did I go onto his property? NO way - I have tooo much respect for he and Lori. He lives in a beautiful area too. I can see why he gets such inspiration.

Well, you guys have the strength, power and patience of anyone I've ever heard of. I mean, I have respect certainly enough for David that I wouldn't go charging up to his door......mind you back in the 60's and 70's we would have. But I don't think I could just drive by............I mean, seriously people........HIS house? He actually LIVES here and you drove by? Saw his truck? In his own little drive-way? With grass on either side? Perhaps a few flowers? A mailbox? Oh............ha that reminds me :!: Back in 1981 I was sent to work in Dallas Tx for a couple weeks. I went with someone (can't even remember who now) for a drive and we went past Tony Dorsett's house. Now I'm a big football fan so I was excited! I sat there and looked at his cute little.........no scratch that..........huge house; his basketball court; his pool. And then I just had to. I jumped out....ran to the mailbox....and took a picture of it. It even had his adorable little name printed on it! If I saw David's...........I don't know. It's best you guys not give me any further details. And please don't rub it in :cry:

Liz! I was just going to say that on just the one occasion I begged to not be taken by there! But <<sigh>> no one would listen to me and I had to suffer my way through it! :shock: :roll: (Wait for the lightening!) :wink:

I want it noted that both days, I stayed in the car. (Excuse me while I readjust my halo.)

I stayed in the car because I was the driver of the car. See how good I was?

I'm gonna have to pay for that one, aren't I? Go ahead, I can take it.

Okay wait..............you guys drove past David's house? His house? Where he lives? You saw his house? I mean, that he actually resides in? You drove PAST his house?

How in the world would you know where he lives? No, don't answer that. I'm sure he wouldn't want everyone knowing where he lives............Especially Me

Haha!! Are ya ready phor this one, Tracey?? (I swear this is true.) I ALMOST brought a pair and then said to myself, what would I use them PHOR???? It's not like it's at a concert where I'm sitting way phar back or anything. And I never thought I'd ever be going by David's and Lori's house. Going by 2 times in 2 days, even knowing they were in Texas............................................I phelt like SUCH a stalker !!! Or tourist !!! Or BOTH!!!!

But now, if I ever get back that way again, I can be cool about it!!

What Lauri..you didn't have your high powered binocculars with ya?????

Someone said it was a black Ford truck. To me it looked like a mid-size to larger one, but exactly which model, I don't know, cause it was parked phurther back in the driveway.
