Yeah, I guess nuf said about this. I always get into trouble. We shouldn't joke on here anymore. Some people get bent out of shape. Of course not a single one of us would ever bother David in any way personally. We all respect him at his concerts too, otherwise we would lose the priviledge of getting to see him; which even he doesn't want to happen.

So just know David and all board members....we are kidding. Right Kellie T? lol although??

That again folks......was a joke.

Sure...I'm joking...right. That's it. (I think I left my rubber boots there...they got stuck in the mud as I was wading through his pasture after a rainstorm.Never did go back to get those things....)

Sorry..just had to throw one more in there for good measure. I'll quit now. laugh.gif

I for one would never reveal where the place is. Like I'd said earlier, I respect the privacy toooo much. Linda - thanks for the info on the model - PJ, Fran and I were wondering and you had the answer - thanks!

Me too, Sue! I couldn't reveal where it was even if I wanted to. I don't think I could find that place again if my life depended on it! laugh.gif No worries here from wrongway Luckett! laugh.gif I was lucky to find Tennessee! laugh.gif

Yes, it looked like that red tin roof. He also had red trim on the back porch and on various other items in the yard. I wish I could share the pictures in the magazine. They were great. smile.gif Elaine

White antebellem with red tin roof.

Huh. I've heard references to "tin roofs" all these years and never knew what they were talking about. Tin Roof Sundae ice cream.....Tin Roof Blues, the song. Well now I finally know.....I noticed that brilliant red in the Gaither article and, coming from asphalt composition / cedar shake land, wondered what they were.

The Gaither Homecoming magazine had an article on David, I think it was the June/July issue, and it showed a picture of David's house. White antebellem with red tin roof. Just the kind of place I've always wanted. It showed small pictures of a few different areas of the home and some furniture David refinished. It was a good article. David was standing outside looking over the pasture to an unfinished tree house. If anyone wants to take a day trip and ride by there sometime, call me. I'm just 5 hours away!!! laugh.gif Elaine

Hahaha, Dee!! But that pretty wrought iron gate was WIDE open---both days! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif I phigured someone must be staying there in order to pheed and take care of the animals and just.....housesit.

And over to the left of the house's driveway, is a second, gravel driveway that leads up to what LOOKS like a remodled barn---The Parlor? I dunno, but it was just great being able to see everything (and the country store too). I'm serious. Just had to get the stalker/tourist thing out of my system. If I ever get to visit again, I'll be cool.

Well, as cool as

can be. Maybe I could lose the hat. Nah---I love that hat. Okay! Okay! I could wear a duller shade of red. I'll go with that. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Somebody said it was pheatured in one of The Homecoming magazines or newsletters or website or something, just in the last day or two. (Sorry--can't remember who.) They said it was beautiful. Well, I know at least the OUTSIDE (phrom the road) is.

Love and Light,

Lauri

Lauri, early this year David had a interviewed in the Homecoming Magazine, and they even had three pictures of David and Lori's house. At the time of the interview he was building his girls a tree house. Every nice house with red roof, and a BIG, HIGH GATE!!!!
