Yup!! Sue is 110% right!! Lynne and I kept saying that to ourselves!! (And I got a <<<BONK>>> when I did some "David subtlimity" while standing in line at the check out at that WalMart across the street phrom the hotel!! (See the the thread "We Are Here " back on page 3, part way through. DUH!!! :roll: :roll: :roll: )

Don't let Becky fool you! She would have been camped out in the treehouse, with camoflage outfit on, camera in one hand,binoculars in the other waitin to see if anyone was there at night, then she would've been on the back porch, lookin under the doormat or the flowerpot to find the key to the house I would definitely have had to bail her out of jail

Shoot---he up and moved his family to Texas when he knew I was coming to Columbia phor the Reunion, even if only phor a few weeks!!!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

I mean, I have respect certainly enough for David that I wouldn't go charging up to his door......mind you back in the 60's and 70's we would have.

Now...reading this....out loud to my mom...she said I'd would have done been in jail as that's the ONLY thing I haven't done is go to his house!!! I'd have been right up ringing the doorbell then praying he wouldn't answer, then when he did answer, I'd scream like the Beatles had just walked in the room and passed out on his front porch!!! Now, mind you....EVERY city in America would know it was me!!!! I tend to lose my voice when I scream!!

Now...for those of you who met me in Lebanon...do you really think I'd do that!!! :roll:

Seriously though...I'd probably drive past it a million times too while repeating "that's where David lives, that's where David lives" like a psycho in a corner...{laughing crazily while rocking back and forth}....but only if it's a main street like we live on, not personally going onto his property and trespassing...I too respect his family's privacy, but oh what fun to see the look on his face if he knew we're even talking about it!!! He'll up and move his family for sure!!! :shock: :shock: :shock:

Bill...here is a pic of the "red tin" roof on our home in colorado....sometimes it came in handy being 8,000 ft up and the snow was up to your waste! ha ha!!

Now that is a "Red Tin Roof"...and on a Log Home in Colorado...Well.... That can't be beat...and you tlod me that your home was in Westcliffe...Awwww Man...like the song on the Gaither's Colorado Homecomings...."Colorado may not be Heaven...But it must be on the way!!!

I KNOW it is...I just didn't put the... CO... after Westcliffe....Guess I thought everyone knew that...Been there Many,Many times!!! I just went back and put the CO behind Westcliffe so ...No I wasn't yanking!! :wink: :shock:
