David Phelps Joins Gaither Vocal Band!
Posted on Jan 13 2009 - 18:43
David Phelps Joins Gaither Vocal Band! Today Gaither Music Group announced plans for a radical transformation of the Gaither Vocal Band, including the departure of long-time GVB lead singer, Guy Penrod, and the group’s baritone since 2004, Marshall Hall. Bill Gaither has gone far beyond simply replacing his long-time lead singer. He has completely recreated the Gaither Vocal Band, now expanding the size of the group from four members to five and bringing back an all-star cast of voices from the Vocal Band’s rich legacy of talent. Effective immediately, the new roster for the five-member Gaither Vocal Band will be: Bill Gaither, David Phelps, Wes Hampton, Michael English and Mark Lowry.

Don't miss David with the Gaither Vocal Band in Tulsa, OK on Saturday, November 21st at the Mabee Center!
'Cause I believe there's power in a dream
You say this faith won't take me very far
But one day you'll stop and

"Higher" - David Phelps
Gaither Vocal Band
Judy
When David was absent from the GVB, it just wasn't the same. I was in Gatlinburg, TN, this past Memorial Day weekend and absolutely loved the group.....having Mark and David and Michael singing together with Wes and Bill is so awesome. I hope they will be singing as a group for a long time to come. And of course, I love David singing solo....
thanks

Rejoining the Vocal Band????
When I 1st heard this I said " You have got to be kidding me!" Why on earth would he want to rejoin the Gaithers? I believe while he was a member previously all that the Gaithers did was squelch his musical talent. How many of today's generation do you see sitting at a Gaither's concert? From what I seen of the Gaither Hour not too many. David has a great chance to reach millions for Christ singing Contemporary Christian music, I dont think he could have that same chance singing old songs for old people. Some would argue that Gaithers sing Contemporary music. Perhaps it was Contemporary 30-40 years ago. What a big disapppointment.
In response to shmuely
I believe David will do what he feels God is calling him to do. While I love him as a solo artist, he is also great as a group member. In fact, the GVB lost something when they lost him. As fans, and as his brothers and sisters in Christ, our job is to support him in all that he does and pray that he is doing what God wants him to. If God is in it then there will still be people reached for Christ whether he is singing solo or with the GVB. I, for one am a huge Phelps Phan and were it not for the GVB none of us Phelps Phans would exist because anyone can see that it was the GVB that helped launch Daves career.
To me it seems your criticism is due to the fact that you are just not a fan of Southern Gospel style music and therefore have a negative attitude about Daves decision. Without Southern Gospel, I don't know that we would have ever had any type of mainstream contemporary christian music at all. Perhaps I'm wrong about you. If am not, lets give respect where it is due. The Gaithers have done a lot for Contemporary Christian music and Southern Gospel music alike. Show some respect. Plus, Dave never said he would stay permanently. "To everything there is a season..."
Rejoining the GVB
Judy Obviously you have never been to a Gaither Family fest. There are not just OLD people there. There are families with children of all ages. David is a wonderful Christian artist by himself. In a group he adds such a dynamic vocal harmony. The blend is exciting and the MEN look as if they enjoy singing every note.
Rejoining the GVB
I am soo excited that David is back with the GVB. He will have a chance to do solo things PLUS fulfill the harmony part of singing. There is something very spiritual about a group of men in harmony. It is very moving. I play my Gaither reunion DVD's every morning before work. I start out with a song in my heart and on my lips. I am looking forward to seeing this new group in August. Since I also sing with a group, I know how fulfilling this can be and is. Blessing to you David! AND thank you for coming back. Deby
damsel here! hi there
damsel here!
hi there shmuely...just saw ur comment there...but i have to prove u wrong. you wont believe the number of young people here who are big fans of the GVB. of course they dont appeal to the 'contemporay generation' around as much, but the GVB shouldnt lose their identity and style as a band. David joining the band again would bring the young and the older generation to appreciate this kind of music and therefore reach millions more for Christ...dont u think so? Go David phelps!!!
I am blessed
Dearest David, I am so blessed by the voice and anointing God has given you. Your voice touches me. I listen to you all the time and you have taken me out of some very tough times. May God continue to bless your ministry and welcome back to the GVB. Kathy from Pomona, Calif.
Through tough times
Firstly,
I am 21 years of age. I live in CapeTown.
Dear David Phelps
I've been going through some personal matters in my life. At the time, i found myself, lost confused without direction or even a slight purpose of it. I was continously haunted with depression until i discovered the Gaither Vocal band, and heard you sang: "There is a River".
Such well written words, spiritual music accompanied by a powerful voice, not only brought across a message of God to me, but my depression got swept away with my tears. A feeling that still lives with me today. A feeling that pushed me to thank the one god used, to save and bring me peace of mind.
Thanks David Phelps
You truelly are a messenger of God, and with his love embracing your heart, you surely can move mountains with the singing talent he gave you.
Goodluck on your tour, my greetings to your wife and 4 children.
and Welcome back to the Gaither Vocal Band, where you belong.
Now you are home

GVB turning in "David Phelps Vocal Band"
The news regarding David returning to the GVB caused mixed reactions for me. I am a David Phelps fan from Romania and an observer\fan of GVB, and this news make me feel the same way I did when David decided to leave the group a few years back. That was a sad moment because in my opinion the best GVB included David, Guy Penrod and Marsh Hall. So back than, the best group had the least time to prove what I expected: GVB excellence on all levels. Unfortunately they only released 4 songs in that particular combination and "Picture of Grace" is still one of my all time favorites. At that time, it seamed like all 3 singers were really extraordinary and unique. After David left, a big gap had to be filled. Wess Hampton came and did his best but he never could approach David's performances on first tenor, so GVB became more or less a group where 2 of the 4 singers, Guy and Marsh, could deliver really outstanding performances. So in my opinion the group became broken, as it never sounded as strong as a group, as it was with David Phelps but kept going through these 2 amazing soloists. I couldn't be any more sad to know that Guy and Marsh are leaving the group. I mean I just got used with David Phelps going solo, what is the point in returning to GVB if the other 2 are leaving. The group will clearly become a "David Phelps Vocal Band", going from a part broken group to even worse. None of the other singers are at the performance level David is. Wess Hampton, aside of being a first tenor, just as David, will always be in his shadow. Michael English isn't what he used to be, I could easily observe serious pitch problems on his live performances, and he just can't continue on the high standard that Guy Penrod sustained all these years. Mark Lowry, beside being funny as we all know him, will make Marshall an awful lot more missed. So given the circumstances I predict that GVB will continue to be the group we love, but will survive through great productions and emphasis on David Phelps, and sadly not through outstanding world class singers, delivering exceptional performances on all aspects as it could have been with Guy Penrod and Marshall Hall.
Bottom line: Get ready for "David Phelps Vocal Band"
David Phelps Vocal Band
I saw the Gaither Vocal Band in concert last night in Minneapolis, MN. They were not the David Phelps Vocal Band...None of the performers in this group would allow that to happen. They all are professionals and very good Christians. The Vocal Band is about group performance. Each one these gentlemen have their strenghts and I think their biggest is the love of the message they are singing not "one up man-ship". Each has his solo thing but when they perform as the Vocal Band...they are a group. If you choose not to listen to them now, you are missing something new. As Bill is famous for saying....."you can't replace a great singer...you just do something different..." I, for one, am happy to see Michael English back in the Fold....Mark Lowry back where he can continue his ministry with humor...and David is appreciated as an important member of this fantasic group of performers. David...welcome back...you are loved...Pat Fuller, Little Canada, MN
crucial comments regarding new GVB
I must say, I am a little disappointed in some of the comments regarding the new line up for the GVB! I know change is hard, but some of the statements made about Wes Hampton, Michael English and Mark Lowry are uncalled for. I am very excited to go see the GVB in the next few months and think all the members have GREAT VOICES, and much to offer the group...Don't get me wrong, I love Guy Penrod, Marshall Hall, David Phelps (my favorite all time singer), but I don't think any of those guys would appreciate the statements made about their friends and comrads! Isn't the point of the GVB and other christian artists to uplift people? Well, some of these comments are not very uplifting for the men performing for US!
Can Anyone Help Please !!
I am new to David's website but I am not new to David's beautiful voice. I have a question.
I can't find out any information about buying David's DVD's. Can I use my PayPal account ?
I wrote and asked someone but never heard back. I don't have a credit card. I hope someone can help me. I live in Iowa and will be going to GVB's Concert in May. I have never missed one
since I found out they actually came this far north.
Thank you !! I was very happy to hear David and his wife both were born on October 21, except I have a few years up on them. I will be 60 my next birthday.
David, we would love to have more of your Concerts here in Iowa. Your voice is amazing
and everytime you sing I just get so filled with Christ's Spirit. I believe Jesus is looking down upon you and smiling for you bring such glorious praises to His Name.
God bless you,
In Christ's Love,
Linda

David's DVDs
Hi Linda:
Every DVD and/or CD that I have on DP or the Gaither GVB has been ordered from Christianbooks.com. They are very reasonable in price and have sales every week on Wed. & Fri. The one exception is the GVB most recent Reunion set which I ordered from the Gaither.com website.
Ree Ree
David's DVD
Try E-bay. They accept Paypal. I usually order directly from David's website, but
since you do not have a credit card and they do not accept paypal, I think that is
your best option. Maybe we can make a suggestion to accept paypal to the web
site.
Good luck and God Bless.
Patty
Thank you !!
Thank you Ree Ree, and Patty,
God bless you both and everyone !!

David's DVDs
Hi Linda:
Glad we could help. I almost forgot that if you have an Apple or iTunes account, you can also sample and/or purchase CDs or DVDs there also. 90% of my music on my ipod is filled with David's voice. I am a SERIOUS phan!!!!
Patty, I have to agree 100% with you on David singing Unchained Melody. I did not think anyone could outsing the Righteous Brothers until I heard David. Let's just face it (as the kids say): "David is all that and a bag of chips."
Ree Ree
Davids Voice
Dear Ree Ree:
There is no competition when it comes to David's voice. It is a gift from God.
I have never heard anyone sing like him. If there are voices like his in Heaven,
I cannot wait to go. For now, I am glad to have hear David sing here on Earth.
My second best is Guy Penrod.
God Bless,
Patty
David's Voice
Patty, I TOTALLY agree with you regarding David's voice. When he sings, "These Are They," Child You're Forgiven," "No More Night," (and everything else) I cry. His voice is smooth and yet his presentation is awesome. My favorite five in the GVB would be: David (always #1), Guy, Mark, Russ and Bill. I like Wes and he seems so cute and humble - but he is not in the same league as the others. I can't really explain other than to possibly say that he doesn't seem to sing from his soul yet. He is around the people who can teach him how to reach the depths of his soul; but to me - he just isn't there yet.
Ree Ree
Mark is a hoot
Dear Ree Ree:
I agree with you. I think Mark Lowry is so funny. I especially like it when he makes
fun of Bill. Especially when he makes out he is singing with him by putting his hand
on his ear. I didn't realize what a sense of humor David had until I received his
DVDs. He seemed alittle serious on the t.v. shows. It would be nice if he showed
more of that on the shows. I really missed seeing him on the Gaither Hour. I
would like to see David and Mark get together more on the show. I am looking at
my I Love DP teddy bear. Still as soft as ever. May the Lord Bless you. Patty
Mark is a hoot
Hi Patty:
Mark is a message to the unbelievers that Christians have fun also. I really enjoyed David's humor on his DVD. Catch David's bloopers on youtube. He has that kind of humor that sneaks up on you...I enjoyed the humor on his Birmingham DVD and the GVB Australian DVD. I can't wait to see the group on March 7th in Alexandria, LA. I hope Mark will be with them cuz he is a riot. I have been looking at some of their performances as the "new group" on youtube and Michael seems a little uncomfortable. He has sang with each of them at some time or another, so maybe it was that he didn't know all the words. Although I noted that at one of their more recent concerts Mark was able to be with them and Michael seemed more relaxed. I haven't been to any of their concerts before so will there be souvenirs there? I'm putting money aside just so I can purchase DP stuff. I'm not really into tee shirts so I hope there will be some new items. I already have all his music.
Be Blessed
Ree Ree
David on youtube
Dear Ree Ree:
Checked on the David Phelps Blooper, Mark blooper and Bill 60th. Thanks
so much for letting me know. Thoroughly got a kick out of them. Will catch
the Gaither Vocal Band on GAC soon.
God Bless
Patty
David on youtube
Hi Patty:
I really laughed when DP closed his one eye while talking about his kids. Don't have GAC, but I wrote my cable company requesting GAC be added to their cable line-up. Sometimes the GVB will be on the Country Music Channel or David will be on TBN (never know when, always catch him by accident), but other than that, I just catch the shows on the Gaither.TV area on the Gaither website. Did you know about that? Every Monday the show changes, but you have a week to see it.
Got a serious headache going on right now so I'm going take care of it. Just wanted to check in to see if you looked at the bloopers. Glad you enjoyed it.
Have a Blessed Day.
Ree Ree
Gaither TV
Dear Ree Ree:
No, I didn't know about the shows being on Geither TV. I will catch it. I bet you
David could sing your headache away.
My friend said Jamey Johnson, country singer, looks like David. I don't see
it. David is so much better looking. See if you can see a pic of him on his website
and let me know what you think.
Hope you feel better.
Freezing here on Long Island.
God bless,
Patty
DP vs. Jamey
Hi Patty:
Put on some DP music, and you're right - he sang my headacahe away. Stop laughing.
I see a little similiarity between David and Jamey, but just a little. David is so much more handsome. Jamey has so much doggone hair on his face, I had to really imagine him without the beard. After I did that - DP still wins. Doesn't help that I'm more than a little biased.
I am from the deep south so I don't envy the weather where you are. It is 63 degrees where I am right now, and I just put some socks on because I'm cold. Today Mardi Gras is being celebrated where I live and I'm laughing at some of the costumes passing in front of my home. These costumes are much milder than the ones that I used to see when I lived in New Orleans. The creativity is awesome.
Have a blessed day and talk to you later.
Ree Ree
Mardi Gras
Dear Ree Ree:
Caught part of the Mardi Gras. Was changing channels and caught it on Ellen DeGeneres.
Richard Simmons also got hit in the face with beads. I think he was more worried about
his hair. I think he has a hair weave. It is suppose to be warmer here tomorrow. I
went out 8:00 a.m. this morning and it felt like 7 degrees. The crossing guard on the
corner had her face so covered you couldn't see her face. I knew it was her because
of her uniform. There is a catholic school on the corner. You can see the cross from
my window. I was brought up Methodist. I was a Sunday School teacher for awhile.
I mostly taught 1st graders. They loved it when I use to teach them to draw cartoons
of the Bible. Like Noahs Art. My brother won awards for his art work. I am not as good
as him. He drew the whole Bible from the beginning. He hasn't drawn in awhile. He
became very depressed because of personal problems. I keep telling him that Jesus is
there for him. He is better some days then others.
I too think David is much better looking then Jamey. I don't know where my friend saw
it.
God bless
Patty
Brought back memories
Patty:
You brought back memories of when I used to be a Sunday School teacher. 5 years. Baptist. I taught the 9-12 yr. olds. I enjoyed interpreting the day's lesson so that they could not only understand but relate to life. Those kids could come up with some very "grown up" questions which made me aware that they were paying attention. I would be so proud when they would demonstrate to me how a previous Sunday School lesson helped them defeat those who would mock their Christianity. Sometimes we would take a hymn and analyze it and then sing it. We would have enjoyed analyzing David's "Just As I Am," or Gaither's "Sinner Saved By Grace." I miss that church, but since relocating after Katrina I have joined membership with another church.
Sorry to hear about your brother's depression. Ask him to draw what he's feeling..it may help you understand his despair and be able to help him weather the storm. Play for him David's song "Arms Opened Wide." Tell him that God knows his pain and help him find comfort in God's arms.
Be Blessed
Ree Ree
A Sunday School Teacher
Dear Ree Ree:
It is so nice to hear we have something in common. Kids can be very funny at times.
I loved it when they came out of class and went screaming to their moms and dads
"look what I drew today." Sorry to hear you had to relocate after Katrina. Did you
lose much? Yes, I keep reminding my brother of the Love of God.
Do you have any pets? I rescue cats. I lost three cats last year from old age. I was
able to catch two stray cats that came to my door. I also adopted a big black cat
from a shelter. My friend had two cats that needed a home named Ethel and Fred.
I was only going to adopt one, but how could you separate a brother and sister.
So I am back to five cats again. I also owned two dogs when I was younger
Fe Fe De La Bue and Felicia.
I see from the dvd that David's family loves animals.
God bless,
Patty
David on youtube
Dear Ree Ree:
I will check out youtube. Thanks for the tip.
Have fun in La.

David's DVD
Glad I could help. Good luck in finding what you want. I wish I could see David
in person. I do not see him listed for Long Island, New York. David Phelps, The
Voice, CD is unbelievable. I never heard anyone sing "Unchained Melody" like
David. I just received my DP teddy bear. It is so soft. God Bless Patty
Phelps Vocal Band (PVB)
Personally my favourite GVB was David, Guy, Russ (with his grammys) and obviously Bill :P
I cant see anything wrong with a Phelps Vocal Band :D.
If indeed that is how it turned out, then it would grow to great strengths through talented worshippers, and would maybe become similar to "Signature Sound", but with greater vocal range.

It's AWESOME!!!
I am so HAPPY to hear your returning to the GVB! I am also extremely sadden to hear that Guy is leaving I know God has something new for him but still Guy and you just had a chemistry that was rare! I Love Mark and Mike they are awesome too but it seems like everything that seems to be changing so fast I have literally grew up with Southern Gospel My Mom and Dad Pastored and Evangelized and we always went to hear all the concerts in the area to name a few the Cathedral's, The Oak Ridge Boy's when they were southern Gospel and the Florida Boy's etc. We sang as a family as well and I am now a Praise and Worship Leader . My parents both died within 10 years of each other and to see all they ones you grew up with dying as well some way before their time ( Anthony Burger) I miss them all but I know that my mom and dad are having the time of their lives with all that talent singing Praise's and Beholding the Lamb of God around the throne together! Again I am so excited to hear your back trust me you have been extremely missed!!!
House of Gold
Just wanted to comment that "House of Gold" was never a GVB song. It was covered by Mark Lowry on his first solo album, "But Seriously." It featured Michael English singing back up - as he does on most of Mark's solo albums.
HOUSE OF GOLD
I agree with the last comment. David, please tell Bill to include HOUSE OF GOLD in the new album. That is just a great song when u guys sang it years ago... now with Wes, its gonna be awesome.
Remember: HOUSE OF GOLD =)
"Good, good news!"
I only recently "discovered" GVB and while checking out the videos on YouTube, I "discovered" David, Michael and Mark. I absolutely fell in love with their sound (House of Gold is one of my favorites) and thought "I wonder if they'll ever sing together again". Then I heard about the GVB Reunion video/CD and now this! Wow, life IS good! I'm really excited about this change, but I find it bitter sweet because of the absence of Marshall and Guy. I am really sorry to see them leave, but I also know that God has wonderful plans for them both. I, too, bought myself an MP3 player so I can listen to this wonderfully inspirational music while I'm cooking, doing housework, walking, reading or just relaxing. I already have quite a collection of videos and CD's...maybe 15-17 each. Not bad for a newcomer! God bless you, David...I know we're in for a real treat when you, Michael and Mark return to GVB.
Til the Midnight Cry
GVB
I am overjoyed with the news of you, David, rejoining the GVB. I didn't miss a Gaither concert in Texas when you were a member. You're leaving them initially was a huge loss for the audiences, but I'm certain God was preparing you for an even greater future. I saw you in Austin with the GVB (what a surprise!) and I attended your solo concert in Waco, TX, and I am faithfully blessed every time I hear you sing. Your voice and your witness are the medium in which God speaks to me. I know great blessings are in store for all of us, and I have already gone online and purchased tickets to the upcoming Gaither concerts in Texas. God is good.........all the time!
YEAAHH!!!
THIS IS LIKE THE BEST NEWS I HAVE GOTTEN IN LIKE 4EVER I THINK. I was chatting with a friend and he said: Did u hear that David is coming back to the GVB? I was thinking, no man, he sang with them some days just to fill in for Guy Penrod. But has I was thinking on that i recieved the Gaither Newsletter and start reading. I WAS JUMPING LIKE IF I HAD WON A MILLION DOLLARS. Not only David is returning, but Mark, AND MICHAEL 2????? 5 voice group????? This is just incredible, awesome, ITS A BLESSING!!!! Cant wait to hear them. I gotta get to the states soon and hear it live. Its going to be AAAAAAAAHHHH... no words can explain it. We will sure miss Guy and Marsh, but hey, ALUMNI ARE COMING BACK!!!!
im just happy! Cant Wait!
MAY GOD CONTINUE TO BLESS U DAVID!
WOW! I can't believe David is back!
Oh my God! I can't believe it. I'm thrilled. I'm getting goose bumps!!!
I thank God for bringing David back to the GVB. I missed in greatly all these years and to see him again is amazing. Welcome back David!!!
May the heavenly Father who called you, use you according to His will.
Blessings,
Joe Samson

Hey Cynthia, there are quite
Hey Cynthia, there are quite a few David Phelps fans from India too. I'm from Mumbai and discovered David's Music when I first saw him in a GVB performance. I am amazed by the power in his voice & am REAL GLAD he's back in the GVB. But most of all, I like the complex arrangements & lyrics he writes - they're a mark of a GENIUS!
Glad to write to u Cynthia, hope to see more 'phans' like u in this country!
Hello
Hello Rachael,
Am glad too!.......probably should form a DP India forum. Hope David Phelps will agree n hope he reads all of these comments. He should know that people here in India are being touched by his music. Wish he can come to India. The great GOD has got the band together. Did you know there are 5 of them now? - Bill Gaither, Michael English, David Phelps, Wes Hampton and Mark Lowry. Mark is another talented person.....HE's Back!. GVB have released 2 CD's of the latest reunion. They are all great singers but David Phelps is something. His awesome voice. God bless the group and shower his blessing on them and their families.

I am a 60 yr. old female who
I am a 60 yr. old female who fell in love with David's voice and presentation since 2004. I was heartbroken when he left the group but fortunately via youtube and my computer, (for me) he was still with them. Recently I was able to purchas an ipod touch just so I could download David's music whether as a soloist or with the GVB. I am financially unable to go to any of his or their concerts but everyday and everynight, I listen to his beautiful, beautiful voice. God has blessed him with an exceptional talent. I prayed for his return to GVB and my prayers were answered. Their harmony blended with his voice as no other group has. David, open up your windows because God is about to shower so many blessings upon you that one room won't be able to contain them. Luv ya. Ree Ree

Hi Ree Ree, my name is Kathy and I live in Wisconsin. Where do you live? I would love to treat you to a live concert of DP solo or with the GVB if possible. Please reply, there is nothing compared to seeing him live!

Solo concert
Ree Ree
Hi Kathy. Aren't you a sweetheart!!! Shortly after I wrote that message, a very, very close friend of mine died. At that very moment, I decided that although there was no DP solo concert coming to Louisiana, I was going to make every effort to see him with GVB. I will be attending their concert on March 7th. I will have to drive alone (hate driving) 3 hours to get there but it is something I will have to do. I'm sorta nervous about it - but that is just how much I want to hear DP's BEAUTIFUL voice in person. I hope I will get to speak to him in person. An old woman's dream come true!! Pray for my safety and that I won't get lost.
God bless you for your offer, Kathy.
Hooray
Ree Ree, I'm glad that you are able to get to see DP live, write back after you experience that, you will never be the same, Hopefully we will get to meet someday
In Christ, Kathy
Yeah
Ree Ree
I am so excited. I feel like I'm going to my 1st concert. Since Katrina (2005), I haven't really done anything with my life except worry about my family & friends scattered all over the states as well as help my sibling upkeep our family home in New Orleans - as well as spend my money wisely where I now live. I miss home, but it isn't home anymore. Can you imagine not even knowing where you belong? Katrina has brought constant fear in my life regarding making plans for anything. I used to enjoy life so much; but now I just exist from day to day. Maybe this concert is the 1st step towards reclaiming my life again. His voice touches the very fiber of my soul. I look at his facial expressions when he sings and I feel the conviction he has when he delivers the songs' message. If God is using my tremendous love for DP's voice to live again----then hallelujah. I know that God lovesme - I just have to learn to love myself again.
Keep in touch. I'd like that.
keeping in touch
Hey Ree Ree, you should sign up over on the message boards so I can send you a private message and give you a way to contact me so we could share more. I would love to hear about you and your life as well as pray for you and encourag you through these trying times. I have a son stationed at an Air Force base in the panhandle of Florida, That is probably the closest that I get to your area and would love to get to know you better, who knows a concert in your area may allow me to meet you. I travel long distances to see the GVB and DP concerts and have seen many over the past few years, I was even able to go on the Gaither cruise to Alaska for the past 2 years. Look forward to hearing from you, by the way I'm 50 years old, married and have 3 sons, 2 are married and 1 still lives at home, My son in Florida has 2 children, a boy and a girl, Sam is 3 and Elizabeth is 6 months old.
In Christ, Kathy
Rejoining GVB
Thank the Good Lord. How great it will be to hear David and his awesome tenor voice with the GVB and also solo concerts. Who could do without Mark and Michael English has a great voice. Thank you Bill Gaither for realizing that David belongs with the GVB. My prayers have been answered. I love The Voice cd and I understand the message David is saying. David, may God continue to bless you and your family and may He continue to bless the world with the mighty voice He has given you.
rejoining the GVB
what an absoutely exciting announcement! I cannot wait to see and hear them. I wish Guy and Marshall all the best and great success in their future.
