I heard on the news here yesterday that your president (whom I up until then actually thought seemed pretty good) approved of gay marriages. It is spreading all over the world, and that tells me we are in trouble. Big trouble.
Jesus says that at his coming it will be like in the days of Noah. People will marry and be given in marraige, and then distaster will overtake them suddenly. They knew nothing until the flood came. According to some, that statement means gay marriages. It was approved then, apparently, and is now. Also, the section in Revelation where it is spoken of the grapes of wrath, it is supposed to mean when we ny law bless something that God calls sin.
I feel powerless and somewhat drained by all this. It seems unstoppable and it does not seem that people want it stopped. It is like this very dark force mercilessly sweaping in and taking over. I don´t know why it isn´t stopped. I know there are those who do pray. But also, maybe, there are too many of us who do not. And who actually might think that this is ok. Sin is never ok, no matter what face it wears. I would like to encourage all of you to fall on your knees and pray. Pray for revival, for an awakening both inside the church and outside of it. And also for strength so stand up for the truth no matter what the cost. Cuz I have a nasty feeling things could get a bit rough in future....
