I agree with Patty...I went out to a Garden Center w/ my Mom yesterday....thought I'd "get out there" today in the sun...it's "allegedly" going to be out later this afternoon.

Happy Thursday, Lena and phriends,

It's been truly gorgeous here in Denver and the frenzy at the garden centers is crazy!

I have a busy couple of days to get ready for church (on Saturday night), but then Kathryn and I fly to Houston on Sunday morning to go to the Beaumont, TX solo concert and then drive to McComb, MS for ANOTHER solo concert! To say I'm excited doesn't even come close! I think we'll see Jane, Melissa, Tina, Glenda, Susan, and Jenn. There are others, I'm sure, but I can't think of them right now.

DP (and the GVB) sing May 3rd, 4th, 5th, and then he does two solo concerts in a row on the 6th and 7th. He will be one tired fella by the time he gets home next week. (Jack and Greg, too.) I'm praying that they find enough time to rest and rejuvenate.

I picked up a flat of strawberries at Jaemor Farms on the way home from Atlanta Monday! Mom's planning on making strawberry jam this weekend! I'm thinking on those good things! Amen
