police shooting

in jax florida about 2 hours ago 2 1/2 there was a police shooting of someone and lets just say its in very very close proximity....the end of my building is taped off. The neighbors are saying it was an armed robbery suspect who lived in this building and that he ran when they tried to serve the warrant. It sounded like we were under siege a little bit ago. He's not dead...and he may be one of my neighbors if the neighbors are correct...anyways please pray for this guy who got shot....the police were not injured the news is saying. there are usually a lot of kids out here after school.....so its kind of spooky right now....please pray for whoever this guy is....i've heard hes' been under surveillance for awhile....i am really hoping its not who i'm afraid it might be....i mean who knows if he's about to die...just pray for him ok please and the peace of this neighborhood, which is a nice neighborhood but wow this is scary.

WOW Cindy...stuff like this is always so sad when it happens...lots of innocent people get drawn in and left to pick up the pieces. Praying

he is going to live apparantly...ya'll, he only had knives on him. ???? Not sure why they shot him. I don't know, but he has a 6 yr old daughter who apparantly witnessed this. and he is wanted in connection with 6 or 7 armed robberies ...i think everyone around here is entirely creeped out....it was either in the end of this building...right in the p lot outside or the adjoining building ....they won't even let anybody in or out of here without proof of residence. My sister knows who it is...I can't place them except I think they live in the end of the building. I am very thankful that one of my neighbors is out of town, she lost her daughter to a violent crime, and she would not have needed to see police tape right outside her door like this....well, its sad all the way around.

thanks for praying... the little 6 yr old...please pray for her. its horrible. there is however a lot to be thankful for...this is what i hear...one bullet went in to one of the foreclosed condos, two bullets went in to two cars out here....and one bullet went in to the guy. The foreclosed condo is in the building across the street (and by street i mean a one lane road) and it happened between my building and that building. thats why we were taped off. he ran...and everybody at the pool which is a few steps away heard all four shots. the tragedy that this COULD have been yesterday...oh wow. All the kids get off the buses and walk right thru there, there is a baby that is always playing on the porch right there, there are countless people that exercise right thru there, walking their dogs, everybody was getting off of work and going to the mailbox (right there). I mean talk about literally in the backyard. People out here are literally mortified.
Honestly I have hardly been able to leave the house since it happened, im reaching the end of my limit of tolerance for danger right now....and my mom is in here she's 92 and im scared to leave her...and thats the other thing...so many unwell retirees literally in the line of fire yesterday. Nobody really understands right now.
