Thanks for this great review. I really enjoyed reading it. I almost felt like I was actually there. I would like to make a couple of clarifications, however. "Panis Angelicus" is a Latin hymn written in the 13th century by Thomas Aquinas.

Original Latin Text:

Panis angelicus
fit panis hominum;
Dat panis caelicus
figuris terminum:
O res mirabilis!
manducat Dominum
Pauper, servus, et humilis.
Original Latin Text:

Literal Translation:

Bread of Angels,
made the bread of men;
The Bread of heaven
puts an end to all symbols:
A thing wonderful!
The poor, servant, and humble person eats (gnaws, chews) the Lord.

Also, "Agnus Dei" is from the old Latin Mass, set to new music written by David.

One final note, the cap worn by Grant is actually called a "kepi." It was worn by soldiers during the War for Southern Independence.

Thanks for indulging these ramblings, and thanks again for the great concert review.
. . . be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord . . .

Haha O well... I was almost right...as least I spelled them correctly...haha and I realized when I saw the tape about Grant's cap...
But I am so used to seeing him in some kind of hat that from where I sat, it looked just like a baseball cap (which wouldn't surprise me at all, given the fact that it was Grant). Some time I'll tell you about the flip flops... ha. Gotta love him!
Thanks for clarifying for me...

Blessings,
Lee
