Like the rest of you, I sometimes drop David's name into a conversation if I can find the tiniest of openings.
The person I was talking with doesn't know much of him and was clearly not as impressed as I always hope they will be. (Irks me ...) Anyway, I finished by saying several of my friends were traveling to NYC to hear David at Carnegie and I wished I could be with them. THAT little tidbit of information caused my friend to finally take notice--because everyone knows that Carnegie Hall is a first-class auditorium for only the best singers!
