Mine is One King...that song really speaks to me! It changed my perspective in so many ways. Oh and Gentle Savior...his musical genius in arranging and composing is mind blowing!

I agree on One King. When David told the Nativity story at his concert it was like hearing it in a different perspective and kind of the first time. David Phelps is not just a man of one trade; his arranging skills are superb, he's a lyrical genius, and God has truly annointed him with a voice that makes people double take, to see a man sing notes that a female is capable of, yet still sound like a man vocally. To top it all off this song with such amazing lyrics, penetrated deep into my soul. His music is Annointed and of God. His music has touched my soul and I am thankful for that. I'm so grateful for David Phelps.

Love,

That's What Love Is is the best song David wrote. It has the deepest meaning and is applicable to everyone. The music was written equally beautiful, complimenting the words perfectly, and it makes good use of his David's high range. It's a trifecta.

"Gentle Savior" is my most favorite song that David has written. The lyrics are so beautiful and always reminds me that no matter what I go through in life that I am safe in His tender care. This song has lifted my spirits many times when life has overwhelmed me and I didn't even know what to pray..."Gentle Savior" was my prayer. Thank you, David.

It's true Lena! I think you and I talked about Gentle Savior at the Barn Bash! I told David that that was a song that didn't have to be sung (although he does so beautifully). I have literally prayed that song during many difficult times and it has gotten me through to the other side of the pain and sorrow and fear and overall bad times that I have encountered. I love all of David's songs that have been mentioned here too and those that haven't been but Gentle Savior is my lifeline. :) Sorry I missed this thread for so long but I live by "better late than never". :)

"Gentle Saviour" definitely.
"I'll put my hand in Your hand like a trusting child would do and say, 'Gentle Saviour, lead me on'!!

I still remember how moving it was when David sang it at BB. All time favorite.
The great thing in this world is not so much where you stand,
as in what direction you are moving.

Hi, All....

Well, at this moment, my favorite Song is: "God Will Take Care Of You".

I explained on the Main Board that I am new to David via THE "O Holy Night" performance
so I received the "Revelation" CD for Christmas.

This Song is helping me tremendously - the message:

So whatever you go through
God Will Take Care of You

is the Message I need to hear right now.
I was let go from my job this morning.

I have so my favorites, but one that hasn't been mentioned and touched my heart is Just As Am. David is soooooooo talented. I listen to him everyday and try to sing along. There really isn't really anything else I can say, because I'm preaching to the choir.
