Suggestions

My mom turns 70 in August and has never been on a real vacation. Any vacation has been to visit relatives. So I am planning this trip for her. I have the week after the Barn Bash off. She is ECSTATIC to say the least just about going to the Barn Bash!! Does anyone have any suugestions on things to see or places to go between Franklin and Michigan? I figure we can stop places on our way home and it won't seem like a long trip. I plan on stopping at Gaither Resource Center. I would appreciate any suggestions.

Would love to help but not sure of your route. Can you give us an idea of what areas you would be close too???

I don't really have a route back. It will depend on what there is to do and see. Mostly anything in western part of Tennessee and Kentucky and anywhere in Indiana.

Loriann, I am useless seeing as I am in Canada and have never been fortunate to visit any of those states, but I am looking forward to everyone's suggestions in case I get an opportunity one day. It sounds like a great vacation for you and your Mom and the greatest part of the trip will be the memories and the bond you will share with each other.
