My prayers are with you Karon. I can go away for a day, but never overnight, since I
am a caregiver for my brother and has a fear that if I do not come home from a
concert the same day, I am not coming back. So I feel blessed that at least I am
able to go to some concerts in my area. Most of the time, the traveling time is
longer than the concerts and take public transporatation since I do not drive. The
last one I went to I took car service because it was in NJ and about two hours away
and there were no trains going there. But if I see David in Dec., I will take two
trains there and come back the same night.

There is always someone out there less fortunate than myself and pray for them.

I agree Patty, there is always someone else worse off. I only go to concerts that are between 2 to 3 hours away from home. When I reach my destination, I have to call my husband and let him know I got there okay. Then when the concert is over, I have to call and let him know when I start home so he will know about what time I will be back. He likes to make sure I arrive and return safely.

So far there isn't a David concert near me this year or even a GVB concert. I look forward to next year and hopefully there will be one I can attend.

You sound like me Karon. Usually cannot go any further than 3 hrs there and 3
hrs back. I keep in touch with my brother and he is usually standing at the door
when I come home. I let him know when I am on my way back. If something
happened I could call 911 for him and let my neighbors know but they are usually
always out but could call them.

I pray that David comes close enough to you so you can go. I have been blessed
lately being able to go to see Ivan, Guy, the GVB, and David these last months.
They hardly ever come to NYC. The last concert David was at was at Carnegie
Hall, but not a real solo concert. There were others performing.

Laura and I would love to go but July isn't a good month for us. We both have health problems, Laura has ear surgery (both ears) on July 11th and I will see my surgeon on July 5th to discuss a radiologist report and schedule my July surgery! We hope (we know!) all will have a phantastic time but we're concentrating on our health issues at the present time!!

Rog & I are hoping that all of you gong have A "Wonderful Time!!!" Like Laura & Daisy ...we are in the middle of a health issue....Rog will be having surgery on July 12 to have a tumor removed from his right kidney...The Dr's say that it has been found very early and is very curable, but it is still a scary thing. We would appreciate all your prayers...and Laura & Daisy you both are in our prayers also.

My prayers are with all those unable to go because of health problems. Sorry if
I missed your post. May Jesus wrap his loving arms around those in need for
complete healing and for those who take care of your loved ones. God Bless

It is all worth the trip going to concerts, because I know the artists really appre-
ates the time I take to go there and back in the same day. I know Kevin Williams
would have liked for me to stay for the other concerts in Lancaster, Pa. I do
feel sad leaving them, but my brother comes first right now, but do not know
what plans God has for me in the future. Also when I went to see Ivan Parker,
the one that travels with him and Ivan, himself, said they appreciate me coming
to see them. His driver said it must have cost you a bundle to come by car
service. Well, I didn't tell him, but it costs more than traveling by plane. He
said he was going to write a poem about me and traveling from Long Island on
Ivan's website. Would you believe, he already posted a very long peom before
I even got home. These memories will last a long time even if I cannot go to
many concerts. It is worth waiting for two trains, whenever they are going
in the direction of a concert, knowing how kind everyone is.

Thanks to all who forwarded the email to me. I really wish it was closer. It sounds like it will be a very intimate setting. I hope or rather I KNOW all who are able to go will be in heaven. Have fun for me! I will look forward to seeing you all on the DVD!
