My daughter (17) said something that made me smile yesterday. We were listening to the GVB in the car and she casually said, "All I hear is David."

Of course, I'm thrilled she and I can share David's music--and Phelps phriends--together. When we are talking about a phriend--and, yes, we TALK about all of you!--she always puts "Phelps" as everyone's surname so we know who we are talking about! So, it's Lena Phelps, Jean Phelps, Kristy Phelps, Melissa Phelps, Ruth Phelps, Lee Phelps .... You get the idea, right!?

See, David and Lori really do have one big happy phamily! Bwhahahaha!

I was in the car the other day with Madie and Jenna in the back seat - the 4 year old greanddaughters - I was playing Wes Hampton's CD and I hear a little voice say - "That's not David."

Another day my sister dropped in to see us at my son's and I had a GVB dvd to lend her. She was trying to figure out who everyone was. The six year old listed off all the names like they were family and really couldn't understand her aunt not knowing their names.

Gotta luv them!!! Guess all my time watching them has turned them into true phans!!

This sounds like my house too! I love that we are instilling a sense of positive music into this new generation. There sure isn't much out there right now for the little ones to look up to. Who knows...we may be forming the love of gospel music into hearts of the next vocal group....ten or twenty years from now!
