Elaine, this is awesome news about your friend! (And we can understand your English very well!) I'm so happy God reserved a ticket for Elisane!

I don't know about Angela, though. Last I heard, she (and Jean R.) were serious about missing this year. We can hope and pray that they changed their minds before the last ticket was sold. They would be terribly missed. :( :( :(

I am so grateful that David and Lori are continuing to provide this weekend. I'm anxiously looking forward to the year they decide to videotape it for all of us!

I'm not sure yet. I bought my tickets at last years BB but all the traveling and plane changes and everything just wore me out. And this year there's even more problems with trying to actually get to the barn. I don't like driving in a strange area with a strange rental car and I hate to rely on others just in case I get sick again and have to go back to the hotel. What Billy and I might do is drive down earlier in the summer and go to Campbell's Station and other attractions. That way we can take our time. Plus the plane costs so much. Last year I spent over $2,000 and really only attended 1 concert. I love David but it really wasn't worth it for me. I wasn't even feeling up to the meet and greet....that's why I missed the goody bag :( I just thinking out loud but I'll probably have 2 tickets to sell. I'm hoping I'll see David at a concert around here and Billy can meet him then.
Peace, be still

I'll be crossing my fingers for Angela. You are privileged, Brenda! In a few days you will see and hear our dear David! Enjoy the best for us all. I'll be here looking forward to good news. By the Barn Bash!

Hi, I'm Kate from Sydney, Australia and I'm so excited to be sending my husband to BB as a surprise, so you can add Steven from Australia to the list!

Could I ask some advice re geography as I know nothing about the area. Steve H has advised that I should fly him to Nashville - I was just wondering where Franklin is distance wise in relation to Nashville airport, and is Franklin where the farm is? How far is the farm itself from where the accommodation suggestions are? Ie will I need to hire a car for him to drive frm the accom to the farm?

Thanks for any help that can be offered!

Hi Kate, glad that you are trusting us with the care of your husband. The hotels we have used in previous Barn Events are about 20 miles / minutes south of Nashville International Airport, but David's barn is a further 45 miles / minutes to the south near Culleoka. (Do you use kilometers in Australia?)
Check out my David Phelps Concert photos at http://www.flickr.com/photos/okbill/sets/
Then go listen to him at a venue near you. He is the greatest vocalist in the world. Period.
